Deaf Curling Aid

A real-time(ish) communication device for deaf players in curling. The device uses buttons to send signals and LEDs to provide feedback. It was created as a class project to explore the intersection of hardware and software development along with a focus on accessibility. A case was designed using Fusion360 to house the electronics and was written in C++ for an ESP32 microcontroller. The device uses a simple button press to send a signal to the other players, who receive the signal through an LED light. The device is designed to be worn on the wrist and is lightweight and easy to use.
